Parent Meeting- All parents are asked to gather with Tony briefly in the cafeteria right after church on Sunday, May 6th.

Contacting you-When church family information goes out we want to be sure everyone can be reached. We are in the process of finding better ways to communicate with each and every one of you. We are asking you to let us know the best way to contact you when information goes out. There will be a sign up sheet before & after church on Sunday. There, you can select the way you want to be contacted, either by phone, or Facebook, or email. Thanks for helping us keep you in the loop!

The Youth will be getting together on the 3rd Sunday  evening in May. Meet at the Denn’s at 6pm on May 20th. We’ll have a fellowship meal, fun and games at Matt & Wendy's. The youth will return to the Denn’s by 8:45pm. Contact Tony.

Sunday Pizza is on the third Sunday in May. All are invited to join us after church on May 20th at Abby’s Pizza on River Road! First 30 people receive free drinks. Be sure to bring along your friends!

Ten Days of Prayer- May 17th- 27th the churches and ministries participating in ONE HOPE LANE COUNTY will join together to pray for our local community. This year's events include a 5K prayer walk, Prayer from High Places, and a Global Day of prayer Celebration. Here is the Calender and prayer focus for the Ten Days of Prayer

Summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) is June 25th, 26th & 27th. All children 11 and under are invited to attend. Be sure to invite your friends & neighbors. This event will take them to local parks and open spaces in and around the Willamette  Valley. Each day- trip is packed with faith-nurturing activities including: a worship time, a focused lesson time, scripture memory, games and so much more! Contact Amy 541-953-8660 by for details! VBS Volunteers-We are needing volunteers for this year's VBS to serve in many capacities- if you are interested, please call or Facebook Amy Jones by May 20th. 541-953-8660

All Church Campout- Mark your calendar for the last weekend in June, the 29th & 30th. This year we’ve reserved camping sites at Schwarz Campground near Cottage Grove. We are excited for our upcoming Easter celebration on Sunday, April 8th!              Join us bright and early at our Sunrise Service at 6:30 am at Jordans' ranch.
Directions: Take I-5 South, take Exit 188A, keeping to the Right at the fork         (99-S/Goshen). You'll come to a stop sign and will take a Right. At the next stop sign take a Left onto Hwy 99. Go another 3 miles, (you'll pass Dillard Rd and the 3 mile mark post). Turn Right onto Ricketts Rd. Follow the dirt road up to the house, which will be on your right. (We'll have signs out along the road saying CF.)

Our Easter celebration continues at 10am, join us for brunch where we'll enjoy a time of fellowship at Kelly Middle in the Cafeteria. (Feel free to bring a favorite finger food!) Our Worship Service will begin at 10:30 am. We are preparing for a great Easter Service at Christ Fellowship. We encourage you to begin focusing on Jesus and His Resurrection. We hope you are prayerfully inviting your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to come and worship! After church we're planning an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. If you would like to participate, bring 1-2 dozen, candy or prize-filled eggs/ per child, and get them to Amy before church. The teens will be hiding the eggs.

Beginning in April, the Youth Group will be getting together for a fellowship meal on the 3rd Sunday evening of each month. Information will be given out at youth group. Contact Tony Denn.

Women’s Retreat at Camp Cascade (East of Salem). April 27-29th. We are excited to announce we have a new camp this year, with lots of fresh, activities for you ladies! Our theme this year will be discussing and exploring your Spiritual Gifts. You don’t want to miss it!! Contact Jackie Farr, 463-1004, Jeanine 688-8405, or Elizabeth 337-8107. Cost is $80. New Small Groups , There are so many ways to connect with the
body here at Christ Fellowship. Small groups are happening almost
every day. Here are a few new groups that are meeting this month:
James: Mercy Triumphs, a Beth Moore Study begins this month, meeting on Wednesdays at  6:30pm at Marla Haven’s. Contact Marla 514-
8435.
Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, a 12-week study begins this
month, staring on  Thursday, Feb 2nd, begins at 10am at Jackie Farr’s (4720 Thunderbird).

Acts: Life Lessons with Max Lucado, meets on Wednesdays at noon at Karen Lewis’(578
Scotts Glen). Contact Karen 747-4078. This study will go until mid March and will break until next September.
Embraced by God, a Max Lucado study will begin on Monday March 5th. This study meets
every Monday morning at 9:30 at Wendy Waddell’s (93862 Prairie Rd, Junction City).
Books will be distributed at the first meeting on the 5th and Wendy will be doing a brunch.
The study will go for 12 weeks. The homework is easy to complete in less than one hour per
week. Contact Lisa 517-0782 and Wendy 228-7372. If interested in carpooling from Eugene
or Springfield, contact Lisa Plumb.

The Youth Group is going to Portland Rose Garden Arena for the Rock and Worship Road Show. Friday, March 2nd! We are leaving from the Denn house at 4pm. Cost is $15 (that's $10 for ticket, $5 for gas). Bring $ for food, or bring a sack supper & any extra you might want for a T-shirt or merch. Contact Tony 541-870-0500. The show should end by 10:30 pm. Featured headliners this year are: Mercy Me, Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae, Hawk Nelson, Diciple, Sidewalk Prophets, Rend Collective Experiment, and Bart Millard.

Third-Annual Valentine’s Dance is Saturday, February 11th, 7-9pm. All are welcome to join us as we enjoy a night of fellowship and dancing. Come as you are, or dress to the nines! Invite your friends! Bring drinks, desserts/ horsd'Oeuvres. Contact Jordan Stevens.

The College-age is leading the entire Service-the 2nd Sunday in February. What an encouragement to see such leadership and excitement as they bring their gifts together and bless the church!

Our college-age small group, THE REFUGE, meets every Thursday night at the Jackson’s. Contact Corey, 510-3406.

Second Sunday Pizza on Feb 12th. All are invited to join us after church at Abby’s Pizza on River Road! First 30 people receive free drinks.

Love & Respect Study Begins this month- The Love & Respect Marriage Conference by Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs is an amazing DVD series focusing on Ephesians 5:22.

"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy,"

TESTIMONY: God used this series to greatly bless my marriage, and has lead me to continue sharing this ministry with those around me. I strongly urge you to come whether your marriage is thriving or needing some help, or if you are single and want to be married someday. Another small group for couples begins this month: Marriage Enrichment at Ken & Jeanine's. Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Contact 688-8405. UPDATE: This particular group is full, but if anyone is still interested they will be starting a new set of the Marriage Enrichment in 6-8 weeks. Candlelight Christmas Eve Service. We have a special evening planned this year! Come sing your favorite Christmas Carols and enjoy an intimate Candlelight service with us. Invite your friends and family and share the Hope of Christ with them! Saturday, December 24th, 5-6pm. Treats and warm drinks will be served in the hallway.

Christmas Morning Worship Service at 10:30 am. We encourage everyone to come to worship together on Christmas Day! Tony has a special service planned, shining light on stories and scriptures with the message of hope! We have a special children’s time planned (no classes will be offered), and doors will open at 10 am. No worship practice is scheduled.

An Open House- Join us for finger foods and fellowship with your church family, hosted by the Denn Family. Saturday evening, December 11th. 266 Wedgewood, Eugene. Contact Elizabeth 541-337-8107.

Shepherd’s Hand Christmas Dinner in Junction City. This ministry serves a hot meal to low income families each Tuesday night. On Tues, Dec 20th, they will host their annual Christmas Dinner. Each year they provide families with gifts for the children. This year we are looking for people to donate $20 gift cards to local stores like Wal-mart, Target or Bi-mart (in lieu of gifts). We also need people to bring pies for the feeding. Please contact Jackie Farr if you can help in one of these ways, 541-463-1004. They expect 50 people this year. About 30 of them are 18 years and younger. *Also, if you are interested in serving at the dinner, contact Jackie.  Thank you!

Youth Christmas Party- It’s going to be a wonderful celebration so be sure to invite all your friends! Mark your calendar for Saturday evening, December 17th! More details will be announced at youth group. Contact Tony Denn 541- 954-4012.

Second Sunday Pizza is December 11th. Come fellowship with us after church at the Abby’s Pizza on River Road near Beltline. Encourage visitors to join you! Free drinks for the first 30 people.
